Six Months Old!

I'm how old??


James had his 6 month well baby visit today. He's 26.25" tall and 17.5 lbs. Still in the 50th percentile for both height and weight. He had two shots, and was less than impressed by them. In fact, he was less than impressed with the whole visit unless he was in mom's arms!

But he was told he was absolutely adorable, and a very handsome baby. His daddy says he gets it from him.

New Highchair!

Captain Fearless has the desire to launch himself out of laps/chairs/toys, but once he's launched, he can't do anything! As a result, the Bumbo just isn't safe any more. It worked great *until* he figured out the mechanics of getting out of it! So, he got a highchair today. One with straps and a safety belt.

Here he is, chillin' in the chair.


Yeah, I'm cute.


The secret to getting him to smile? "Woof" at him. Yes, our child thinks barking like a dog is hilarious.
