Two months old

James is two months old now! He had his two month well baby check on his two month birthday. He's 10 lbs 11 oz, and 22.75" long. That's between the 25th and 50th percentile for weight, and 50th percentile for height. So pretty much smack in the middle of the pack! Here are some photos of him mugging for the camera:

Smiling baby

Another skill mastered (although he doesn't find puns nearly as amusing as Mom does!)

This must've been from my killer nacho cheese joke...

Zero to Pancake Lip...

James has the ability to go from zero to pancake lip instantly!

It's starting!

Full blown pancake lip!

Hogback Baby

Dad spent the weekend putting a new roof on the cottage. Mom and James spent the weekend supervising, and staying at Grandma & Grandpa Garn's house!

Hanging out with dad (after the work is done!) in front of the cottage sign and the lake:

I am awake

Despite all the photos of James sleeping, he IS awake (and not crying) at least a little bit during the day!

Tummy Time

In our house, everybody participates in tummy time! Actually, I think Bozzy is scheming to get one of those lovely baby toys that SHOULD be dog toys!

A busy weekend

What an exciting weekend. Friday we got out of the house and went for a walk on the White Pine Trail to take advantage of the beautiful weather (and help mom's sanity).

On Saturday, we drove north to see Grandma and Grandpa Garn and to meet the rest of the family.

Here's a picture of James with his Great-Grandpa Longstreet! (I think James has more hair :) )

And here's James with Great-Grandma Longstreet.

He also got to meet his Great-Uncle Larry and Great-Aunt Cindy, and Great-Great-Uncle Jim and Great-Great-Aunt Marge, and Great-Great-Aunt Carol. He was held and loved on by everybody, and his mom didn't get to touch him until it was almost time to come home!

Today we went outside and planted peas. Well, mom planted peas. James pretty much just sat in the stroller and napped:

We even picked some green onions from last season - James proudly displaying the harvest:
